Saturday morning we explored this area called Westgate, down by the Cardinals Stadium. It is outdoor shops, restaurants and a little water fountain area for the kids. We walked around, got some coffees and smoothies and hung out here for an hour or so. Erin and Jeremy were with her brother so we hung out here until we met them for lunch at In-N-Out at noon. Can't be with Erin and near an In-N-Out without going to one! :)
During naps we hid eggs in our backyard.
And woke the kids up early so they could egg hunt and we could make it to church on time.
Then we told them the Easter Bunny hid baskets in their rooms and to go find them. So cute. I seriously love being a parent. Love it!
Jamie got a baby and that is all she cared about in her basket. I don't think she let it go until the next day. No matter how many babies she has she loves them all. Carries them all. Sleeps with them all. It's so sweet.

Katie got a giant tub of bubble gum in her basket and was pretty excited about it!
Then we headed over to church. This is Pete and Jamie outside their classrooms sharing their snack before meeting up with the others. See baby?
At dinner with Erin, Jeremy, Brad & Kendra (Erin's brother & sis-in-law) and all of us. See baby? :)
What a wonderful Easter together. And the best part is Christ is risen. He rose so we can know that he is God. What an amazing gift to us. God has provided us his son and we in return hope to follow in his ways and teach our children to love and follow God. In the years to come I will strive to make Easter more of a celebration of Jesus than of egg hunts and candy. But in the end I know my kids are learning of Jesus and they know His name and trust in Him. Good times then.......
