Random things about me:
I am trying to grow my hair out but hate how it looks right now. I am tempted to cut it every day.
Most days I don't let Abby out to pee until 4pm in the afternoon. That's ok for her because I haven't fed or given her water yet for the day so she doesn't have to pee or poop anyway.
I watch Days of Our Lives with my 5 month old daughter.
I want more kids. Like two more. Unfortunately this probably won't happen, for many, many reasons.
I wish I never left CA but would do it all over again in a heartbeat if it meant never meeting my husband and having our two children.
I take pictures every day. I eat chocolate every day. I have one cup of coffee every morning and usually one bowl of cereal every night before bed. I wish I had nicer clothes and better style. I love the Today Show in the morning, Days of Our Lives in the afternoon and the hollywood gossip shows at night. I hate talking on the phone but love emailing, facebooking, and blogging. I am avoiding the doctor about my hyperthyroidism so I can continue to eat like I do and not get huge.
That's a little about me these days and now I have to go because my daughter is bored on the floor and Pete just woke up from nap. Hugs and kisses. A.M.

Baby Girl
Jamie is over 5 months old now and I realized I never updated the blog after her 4 month doctors appointment. Here is the scoop. Jamie weighed 16lbs, 1.5oz. She was in the 93% of weight. She was 24 1/2 inches long, 90% of height. The doctor was very proud of her and me. She is healthy, happy and growing perfectly. It was nice to get a congratulations myself on all my efforts. Jamie's pooping issue has resolved itself finally. Apparently she can poop if she needs to. The doctor said she is just absorbing everything she eats hence the lack of poop and the great growth. That's my girl! :)
So, she is doing wonderfully. But I could have told you that and I am sure you can tell from the pictures that she is strong and well adjusted. Those cheeks tell a story in themselves. :) She got shots and cried for all of about 15 seconds and was all better.
I am so proud of Jamie. Not only is she a cutie but everyone that meets her comments on how happy and smiley she is. She is just a really happy girl. It makes it so easy to be around her and care for her when you get a lot of joy in return.
Since her 4 month appointment Jamie has become so active. She rolls over the instant you lay her down. She can scoot herself forward and for a while there was rolling all the way across the room. It was amazing and scary. She grabs for everything and everything she gets a hold of goes in her mouth. Jamie is so observant. She sees everything going on in a room and either stares of laughs. She smiles, giggles and shakes with excitement when she sees my face or hears my voice. It just melts my heart. And she loves watching her brother. He makes her laugh and the rougher he is with her the more funny it is. It's weird. She is very active. When she was in my belly she was always moving. I can tell she is going to be the same way as a pre-toddler. It's a challenge to change her diaper because she is squirming and trying to flip over. You have to be paying attention while giving her a bath or she will roll right out of her tub. This week she has been pulling herself forward to sit up and I can see her sitting on her own by the end of the month. I can see my little baby growing up before my eyes and as much as I love it, I hate it. Where does the time go?
Jamie is eating oatmeal now. She likes it but is still trying to get used to the spoon in her mouth, the chewing and swallowing. She sleeps well at night usually going about 8 hours, waking up to feed around 6am then going back to bed for another 2 hours or so. It doesn't always go like that but most of the time that is the schedule. She naps anywhere from 2-3 hours a day. Babies this age are supposed to get about 15 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period and Jamie averages 12-13. But that's ok, Pete was the same way. And like Pete she is a light sleeper. I just don't birth good sleepers. Where do they get it? Me. So I can't blame them.
Jamie eating oatmeal last night. Can you see the sweet way she is looking at her daddy? What a great dad she has. He bathes her, feeds her, reads to her, snuggles with her, and puts her to bed. Our children are so blessed, they have no idea. Someday they will realize that God gave them such a gift in their father.
Jamie in the bath. P. doesn't like me to put naked pics of her on my blog but this one was so cute I had to add it. I just cropped it so it is as non revealing as I could make it without taking away from it's cuteness.
Here are some pictures of Jamie trying to sit. She leans forward, wobbles for a second and topples over.

Pete and Jamie playing this morning. Sitting better already from last night.
And just a sweet shot I caught of her. Isn't she the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? What an angel from God.

Stuff
Yesterday's breakfast. Mama's girl wishing I would give her a bite of my waffle. Baby books say your babies are ready for solids when they start showing interest in what you are eating. Jamie is ready. :)
Yesterday afternoon. Our pretty girl at the mall while her brother played in the kids area. She's so alert now and just sat there and watched all the kids run around. She loves to watch her brother and of all people he makes her laugh the most.
Last night. Our "little hornet". She's such a sweetie all day until it is time to go to bed then her inner "hornet" comes out. She tucks her head under your arm and gets mad. Really, really mad. Then falls asleep.
"Oh hi mom." One more smile for you before I get mad again.
"I don't want to go to bed!!! But I am so tired........ and mad."

Had to stop taking pictures so she could cry it all out and go to bed. She is a night owl. In fact, it is 10:20pm and the only reason I am blogging and not sleeping is because she is still wide awake. We told her an hour ago we were ready to go to bed so anytime she wanted to she could go to bed.......
The kids today. They are going to be the best of friends and the worst of enemies.

Making smores over the stove tonight.
Jamie watching from the bouncer on the kitchen table. She does this a lot. Pete didn't eat any smores. I know Jamie would have if I had let her.
Don't you love her cute 9 MONTH pink flowery pajamas?
Time to let the hornet out. Mom is very, very tired. Goodnight all.
