MOPS Leadership Retreat

This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending the weekend with my new MOPS friends and leadership team. We headed up to Munds Park by Flagstaff and stayed in a beautiful cabin in the woods. It was a weekend filled with talking, laughing, eating and even some planning for next years group. :) What an amazing weekend. One that taught me that we as moms are all doing the best that we can. It taught me that I am not alone and everyone struggles with our "jobs". I learned things from each mom about how to care for my children better. And I was able to share a little of my "experiences". I made friends and strengthened friendships. I ate a ton, like I always do. I studied the bible and learned how "able" God is to do anything. We prayed for our group, each other and our kids. It was a priceless trip. One that I will remember forever. One that I am so thankful I was able to go on. And so grateful to my amazing husband who took care of our children for me while I could be a part of this group and this getaway. Thank you babe.

I even got to see my long time friend Kaci who lives in Flagstaff.Have to say though, I missed my family so much while I was gone. Especially my darling curly haired little angel. And my sweet, funny little man. And my old, tired dog who is still my first baby. Oh and that handsome, incredible husband of mine.......

Life With a Pool

How do I describe life with a pool? Something close to heaven. Our kids love it. We love it. It is so refreshing and fun. Not only is it a beautiful part of our backyard that we love to see when we look out our window but it is how we spend our days now. Especially since it is supposed to be 110 or over all week. :)

Boy have we been blessed with some amazing new friends. God is so good.

It is really neat to know not only do I have some amazing friends but that my kids do too. Ones we will grow up with and spend our days with. God has truly provided for us in every way.
