4th of July

We went to Reed's Lake for the 4th of July this year. It is a small lake near our home that had some 4th of July activities and fireworks at night. We were only going to stay a couple of hours but had so much fun we went home, got some more food for dinner, some games and warmer clothes and went back for the rest of the night. Here are some pictures of our day/night.

The day started out gloomy and rainy but cleared up nicely later in the afternoon. Here is us hanging out, wasting some time before the big show.
Pete spent a good amount of time pouring out his milk on this chair and playing in it. Or he was pushing his wagon around the park from behind. With the help of the wagon he was even able to run a little bit. Feeling big and thankful it hasn't been too hot of a summer. 34 weeks along in this picture. Pete only wanted Katie's ice-cream, watermelon sherbet. He wasn't interested in my chocolate peanut butter or dad's caramel turtle. Katie and P. playing some volleyball. Waiting for the fireworks to start.
Pete is 0-2 when it comes to fireworks. He made it until 9:55pm then passed out and slept through the whole show. He didn't wake up again until we put him in the car to go home. Maybe next year he will get to see his first firework.
Hope everyone had a fun forth. We completely enjoyed our time together as a family and I have some great memories and pictures to show for it. Love.
