Pete drives Jamie around on the Jeep every day. Well, every day until it started to snow yesterday. But if they were home today, I am sure they would be on it. He drives, she sits and looks around and they are perfectly happy, for a long, long time. What, oh what will we do when we can't go outside?

My parents asked that I put up some videos of the kids for them. It's hard to take videos and almost every day they do something cute and I wish I had it on video. Especially Pete's talking. He says the funniest things and is so observant. Anyway, over the last week I tried to get a few videos. Nothing very exciting or interesting but just them in their environment and living their lives.

This video is a little older but it was too cute to not post. Pete is singing happy birthday to a dear friend of ours before we go see her at her workplace.

What Is That????!!!!!!

Snow. That's what that is. I had a panic attack when it started to fall and a heavy feeling of winter is looming over me even though it has stopped. It was only a matter of time.....

Halloweens

We celebrated Halloween pretty much all week. In fact, Pete wore his fireman costume at least 10 times this month. Here's all we did....

Wed night we went to Sunshine Church's Trunk or Treat. I took the kids because P. had to work. We met some friends there and had a fun time with them while trunk or treating for candy. The kids are great people watchers so they had a wonderful time checking out all the kids in their costumes.Friday morning I took the kids to IHOP for a free scary face pancake. They were a big hit there and enjoyed the candy and cookies on pancake the most. Friday afternoon we visited P. at work and showed off the kids to his co-workers.Saturday morning we went to a friend's church that had a Harvest Festival where we did crafts, had donuts and cider, trick or treated and watched a costume parade.Saturday night we went trick or treating in our friends neighborhood. We have done this for 3 years now, since Pete was born. And Sunday we dressed the kids up as hunters. Daddy went hunting and the kids and I went to another friends house for dinner, trick or treating and pumpkin carving.Halloween, and every holiday, is amazing with kids. I love everything about them. I love watching them experience new things, be amazed by the exciting world we live in, and share the fun things in life with them. I loved that Pete loved being a fireman and Jamie actually enjoyed wearing her ladybug dress. I think she knew she was pretty. :) We had so much fun with all of our friends celebrating the Halloween holiday together, like family almost. We have some friends here that have become our family and I am so grateful to have them to share these memories with.
