Kids

Some of Pete's favorite things: turtles, turtles, turtles, the moon, poop, watching people mow the lawn, water (wa-wu), cashews, books with moons and turtles in them, floor puzzles and money (coins).

Some of Jamie's favorite things: eating, eating old food off the floor, eating paper and plastic bags, her brother, eating plain yogurt, playing in the bathroom, unplugging electrical cords, seeing me when I come get her from a nap, and eating.

We usually pray with the kids before naps, meals and bedtime. Sometimes when things get out of control and I feel like I am losing Pete's "attention" we stop and pray to "refocus" ourselves. The other night I asked Pete if he wanted to pray and he says, "I do." I ask "What do you want to pray for?" He says, "Daddy, I-dee (Jamie, pronounced , i'-dee), Onnie (really Connie, a friend of ours.)" So sweet. And when he says Amen I always smile.

Tonight

We went to Meijer Gardens tonight for an event held by Pete's school. They had arts, crafts, music, snack and the gardens open for us to explore. Here are some pictures. Oh and the weather was so nice. Sunny and warm and perfect for a fun night out.

My camera came home last night. Phew. Helping dad fix the shocks on the truck.Fixing the shocks himself and showing sissy what to do.


I eat everything. Grass, leaves, rocks. It's all good.

Pictures

I haven't had my camera for three days and I am dying without it. Just dying. I go to get it at least 5 times a day and it's not there. P. took it turkey hunting on Saturday morning and left it at his friends house. Hoping it comes back home tonight. I honestly think this is the longest I have gone without taking a picture.

The kids have grown an inch since Friday. Jamie is talking now and Pete is riding a bike without training wheels. No just kidding. Good thing nothing extraordinary happened over the weekend or I would really be feeling the loss.
