Monday and Tuesday

Monday the kids and I went to Tot Town. They won't be having it for 6 weeks so we went one last time. What a great place. The kids play, have a good time, my house is not being destroyed and they have all these new toys and kids to play with. Oh and I get to sit and watch. It's a very nice time for all.
And Tuesday we went to a farm. We have made a friend at Sprouts, a lady at the check-out, and she invited us to her farm. We finally called her this week and went over to check it out. We had so much fun. Ms. Karen lives on 2 acres literally in the middle of town. All the houses around there have 1-2 acres with gardens, animals and barns. She didn't have a ton of animals but it was ok because the kids were much more interested in all the "toys". Here are some pictures....

Pete and a cows butt. There were 3 baby cows, a mom and a dad. And tons of chickens. Ms. Karen sent us home with 2 dozen extremely fresh eggs. Next time we go back hopefully there will be some eggs for us to pick ourselves.

And boy did they have fun toys. It helps that Mr. Ed and Ms. Karen have 6 grandchildren in the area so the farm is loaded with stuff just right for Pete and Jamie.

We had such a nice day on the farm with our new friends. They were so nice and so sweet to the kids. We are blessed to have met people with this in-town little farm for the kids to visit. Hopefully our friendship will grow and the kids will be around to see the cows grow up, then get eaten. Yikes.
